In Canada, winter is cold and snowy and for a lot of people, it can be very depressing. I don't mind winter most years because I have had hockey to keep me entertained. This past December, a new festival came to Halifax called the Evergreen Festival. The Facebook page about tab says 'Community comes alive with music, light and joy. Evergreen Festival is a new holiday festival on the Halifax waterfront, throughout downtown, and online.'
