Maritime races to do in 2026
Back in 2015, I walked my first 5k and enjoyed it. A few people at my father's work were participating in the Bluenose Marathon and asked if my dad and I wanted to join them, which we did. Both of us signed up to do the 5km walk and while I was able to keep up with him and a co-worker of his for the first third, they have longer legs than I do so I fell behind. Best Halifax trails in the winter
In Canada, winter is cold and snowy and for a lot of people, it can be very depressing. I don't mind winter most years because I have had hockey to keep me entertained. Plus, I have also been able to see my family and some travelling to do. One great way to combat depression and the winter blues, is to go for a walk. Christmas lights at Evergreen Festival
This past December, a new festival came to Halifax called the Evergreen Festival. The Facebook page about tab says 'Community comes alive with music, light and joy. Evergreen Festival is a new holiday festival on the Halifax waterfront, throughout downtown, and online.' Just like almost everything in 2020, the event planners were forced to put a portion of the festival online so I didn't experience as much of it as I wanted to.
