Easter Weekend in Montreal
View outside of train window I spent Easter Weekend in Montreal, travelling in a different way for me, exploring the city and watching a hockey game. I went up specifically to see a Montreal Canadiens game and you can read that post here. But now I thought I would share how the rest of the trip went. At some companies, employees have both Good Friday and Easter Monday off and I am thankful that my employer provides us that opportunity so I did not have to take additional days

Original Six arenas complete
As you may know if you've looked at my bucket list tab above, one of my life goals is to go see all 32 NHL teams arenas. I was hoping to do it all in one trip but after realizing that it wouldn't be possible, I needed to break the goal into smaller ones. During the 2016 pre-season, Sidney Crosby suffered another concussion and I figured that he would retire in the next couple of years so I decided that I wanted to see him play before he did. Seeing my favourite player again
I love travelling in winter apparently but I guess that is to be expected since I LOVE hockey. Early in 2020, before the pandemic really hit North America, I made a trip to Winnipeg and boy, February is the wrong time to go. When I am not travelling or exploring my province, I am in a rink most times. Since the 2012-13 hockey season, I have been a Halifax Mooseheads season ticket holder. In June 2013, a player from Denmark named Nikolaj Ehlers was drafted in the import draft
